The Soft ride Sportster – Now with Sine-Wave controller
The Motorino XMs looks like a hybrid between a scooter and a dirt bike. Its one pivot seat supported by a monoshock ensure a soft ride on rough terrain. The seat is longer than the XMa seat and it has a plenty of leg room. The softness of the rear suspension, though, makes it suitable for one person only or a load up to 220Lb. Both 4” wide tires ensure excellent traction. As a standard for all Motorino models this one is also equipped with ABS hydraulic brake system on front and rear wheels. The 60V battery is positioned under the floor which makes it extremely stable. It comes with full length front suspensions allowing wide range vertical deviation when needed.
With its 60V CCT drive train, Sine Wave controller, and a frame lighter than many other XP models, the Motorino XMs provides unbeatable ability to climb the steepest hills and acceleration better than many 50CC gas scooters. The new Sine-Wave drive is more efficient, absolutely quiet, has smoother regenerative brake that returns more energy in the battery pack. It comes standard with five 12V 20AH deep cycle SLA batteries. They can be upgraded to Lithium Ferro Phosphate with a lifespan of five years. This will reduce its total weight by 45 Lb, increase its climbing ability and extend the range by 25%.
Unique Electric Drive Design
As seen on all MOTORINO™ XP models, this scooter is fitted with our unique CCT drive system. This drive system provides three electronic gears allowing selection of high torque, high speed or high range depending, on the riders preference and road conditions, while maintaining a high motor efficiency. Rated at 500W continuous power, our CCT system is capable of providing peak torque comparable to that seen in 50cc gas scooters with zero emissions and all the advantages of a Motor Assisted Cycle (MAC) classification (no licence, no insurance, free parking). Hydraulic Brakes with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS)
The dual hydraulic disk brakes are equipped with an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) which ensures safe and effective braking.
ABS is a very important feature for scooters as it greatly reduces the possibility of brake lock up and therefore provides the rider a better chance of steering out of trouble. Read more.
Regenerative Braking System
As with all MOTORINO™ XP models, this scooter also features regenerative braking; this takes energy normally wasted during braking and turns it into usable energy which is returned to the battery pack, extending your driving range and increasing the efficiency of your MOTORINO™. Regenerative braking not only provides energy to the battery, it also extends the life of your brake pads to almost double that seen on typical gas scooters.
