Motorino XMr brings a new flavor to our Motorino selection.  It encompasses the utility of a scooter with the modern styling and more enjoyable handling capabilities of a motorcycle. The full size front suspension and the softness of the rear monoshock suspension contribute to a comfortable ride even on rough terrain. The 72V/20AH battery at the bottom of the bike provides lower center of gravity.

Motorino XMr is  the first Motorino bike with 12”-72V CCT ­TM hub motor contributing to higher torque and faster acceleration. The Sine-Wave controller which has become a standard for all Motorino bikes makes the bike absolutely quiet, more efficient and returns more energy in the battery pack. As all Motorino’s , Motorino XMr comes with hydraulic disk brakes with ABS but the disks are 220mm compare to 180mm or 200mm on other models.

Unique Electric Drive Design

unique-designAs seen on all MOTORINO™ XP models, this scooter is fitted with our unique CCT drive system. This drive system provides three electronic gears allowing selection of high torque, high speed or high range depending, on the riders preference and road conditions, while maintaining a high motor efficiency. Rated at 500W continuous power, our CCT system is capable of providing peak torque comparable to that seen in 50cc gas scooters with zero emissions and all the advantages of a Motor Assisted Cycle (MAC) classification (no licence, no insurance, free parking). Read more.

Hydraulic Brakes with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS)

hydraulic-brakesThe dual hydraulic disk brakes are equipped with an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) which ensures safe and effective braking.

ABS is a very important feature for scooters as it greatly reduces the possibility of brake lock up and therefore provides the rider a better chance of steering out of trouble. Read more.

Regenerative Braking System

braking-systemAs with all MOTORINO™ XP models, this scooter also features regenerative braking; this takes energy normally wasted during braking and turns it into usable energy which is returned to the battery pack, extending your driving range and increasing the efficiency of your MOTORINO™. Regenerative braking not only provides energy to the battery, it also extends the life of your brake pads to almost double that seen on typical gas scooters.

    I just purchased the Motorino XMr on March 31, 2016. Wanted to “go green”. The Vancouver Shop allows you to test drive the models and this is the newest model that looks like a motorcycle. I wanted something flashy. LOL … The sales team and the owners were fantastic, spending as much time as possible with me to answer my questions which I had a lot. I live in Richmond, BC so I had to take this thing on the road first hand for a long drive and boy, it was fun. Absolutely dead quiet, you don’t hear a thing from the scooter. Took me a bit to get used to how quickly the bike launched from a full stop and it’s quick to accelerate. The disc breaks are perfect! I made it home in rush hour traffic by using the bicycle lanes, was faster than most of the cars. People looked at the scooter and thought it was a real motorcycle. Using the Skytrain Canada Line Bike Bridge, I actually had to explain to some bicyclists that I was on an electric scooter and then they laughed and marveled at how much it looks like a motorcycle and one couple laughed and asked if I wanted to switch forms of transportation, their bikes for my scooter. The scooter responds in every way, shape and form. I got home safely from long drive with no issues. Again, most people think it is a motorcycle. The owner and the mechanic are going to look into attaching saddle bags for me at a future date as I’d love to go shopping with this and not have to put on my backpack, but in the meantime… it was FUN, FUN, FUN… great model and idea Motorino and E-Bikes!

    This bike is absolutely amazing! I have had three electric scooters in the past 5 years and none of them compare to this bike. The bike is extremely powerful and VERY fast. It gets up to its top speed from a full stop within seconds, and it doesn’t struggle when going up hills. The suspension makes for a comfortable and smooth ride. The battery regeneration feature is amazing! Overall this bike is everything I was looking for. Powerful, sturdy, able to go longer distances on a single charge, comfortable and it looks awesome. Best ride of my life!
