| It
has nine inch wide pneumatic tires making it
capable to go through rocks and bumps. The max
speed is up to 35km/h. The motor has enough
torque to handle inclines to 30 degrees. Steering
is through weight transfer as per normal board
riding. The speed is controlled by a hand-held
digital remote controller, exchanging a digital
code with the skateboard, thus eliminating any
interference with other wave sources. JetDek
XP is equipped with EABS (Electric Adsorbing
Braking System), which allows the rider to stop
efficiently while charging the batteries. There
is an electric buffer system which provides
gradually increasing braking power, preventing
sudden stops. It is equipped with a weight sensor,
that allows to start the skateboard only when
it is loaded. |
